Good morning. Becca's Gourmet Goodies had a VERY busy summer and fall. As we are starting to head into the winter we wanted to provide some updates starting with our blog. Beginning in December we will be much more active on this blog as well as on our Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/BeccasGourmetGoodies). The blog is going to be utilized for more detailed posts about what we are doing and where things are heading with us. We will also be doing some updated tips and recipes as well as providing more detailed order information.
We are actively working with a great website designer who is doing a complete website overhaul for us. We have spent a lot of time working on product development and it is time to upgrade our website to reflect Becca's Gourmet Goodies.
We also are moving forward on another project that we hope will give us a much larger variety of options. Once we finish crossing our t's and dotting our i's we will provide more details!

Saturday Market and Introducing our savories!
We'll see you at both Saturday Fort Collins Markets tomorrow morning!
We'll be at the Larimer County Market from 8-12 and on Drake Road from 10-1!
We will have our Stuffed Sandwiches at the Larimer County Market only this week. We have been asked to come up with some lunch friendly and savory options for the booth. We are debuting options for lunches with some wrapped sandwiches and lunchbox sweets.
Ingredient update!
We have teamed up with another Colorado Proud vendor and will be using naturally pressed sunflower oil in place of canola oil in many of our recipes. It is a richer flavor, produced without solvents and healthier nutritional option appealed to us!

We are excited to announce that we will be joining the CAMC Sunday Farmer's Market beginning this Sunday, July 21st from 11-3 at Harmony and Lemay in Front of Ace Hardware. The market runs through November Weather Permitting!

From Old Town Fort Collins, go south on HWY 287/College Ave. Turn left onto Harmony Road and proceed approximately 1.2 miles to the east. Turn right onto Lemay Avenue. The market will be on your right in the parking lot of Ace Hardware located at 1001 East Harmony Rd.

Fourth of July at the Laramie Loco Market!

We'll see you all at the Laramie Loco Market at Undine Park in Laramie Wyoming from 3-7 on July 4th.
We will be selling "Ameri-Farts" (Strawberry), a limited run of these flavored meringues at the markets this week. 50% of the gross sales will go to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. We will also have a donation bin on site. This is an excellent program to support our troops and their families!

Cheyenne Tuesday Market - Today - 7/2/2013
We'll see you all at the Cheyenne Tuesday Market in the parking lot of Frontier Mall from 3:00-6:30. The hours have been extended so people have time after work to shop with the wonderful selection of vendors!
We will be selling "Ameri-Farts" (Strawberry), a limited run of these flavored meringues at the markets this week. 50% of the gross sales will go to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. We will also have a donation bin on site. This is an excellent program to support our troops and their families!

A great day!
So today is the day we move from functioning under the Colorado Cottage Food Act to functioning in a full commercial kitchen with all that entails! We will be looking at our wholesale options this week. We have applied for and received our Colorado Proud status! This opens up three new farmer's markets:
We will be at the Laramie Local Market Thursdays from 3-6 at Undine Park in Laramie Wyoming.

Spring Wedding Catering - Gluten Free and Dairy Free Desserts
This week we did a catering order for a spring wedding luncheon where the bride and her family has some specific dietary needs. We needed a menu for desserts that were gluten free and dairy free. They chose four items, three gluten free dairy free and one gluten free. We did Red Velvet Cupcakes (GF & DF pictured below), Chocolate Swirl Brownies (GF), Deconstructed Caramelized Banana Cream Pies (GF & DF) and finished it with a refreshing Raspberry Mousse in Shortbread Cups (GF & DF pictured below).

An update, what are we up to?
So what have we been up to? We have been working with our photographer to get photos of the biscotti up and running. We are continuing to work with Indulgence by Chocolate Cafe for distribution of our product. Website revisions are in process and things are moving forward!
We will be debuting our new logo in the next couple of days and should have pictures by next week. All of our licensing is taken care of and we are looking forward to the next several weeks as things continue to develop.
